We are excited to be working in partnership with the Village of Orchard Park to offer a municipally-sponsored food scrap recycling program. At this phase of the program, participants must reside within the Village of Orchard Park. Those living in the Town will be kept on a waiting list, and may be admitted into the program at a later date.

This program will run from June 15 2026 - June 14 2027.

In order to keep this community resource functional and in good order, please abide by the following guidelines:

1. Adhere to the "What to Compost" list that will be provided to you. Excessive contamination of the tote will put the entire program at risk.

2. Clean up if you happen to spill.

3. Re-lock the tote after use and do not share the code with those not enrolled in the program.

4. Notify Farmer Pirates Compost at ahoy@farmerpirates.com if you notice any issues or have any feedback regarding the community tote/NDO program.

* Would you like to claim a free collection bucket?

If so, this 5-gallon bucket will be delivered to your home by the Village of Orchard Park DPW. You may also use a container of your own.
